The Seaquarium Dolphin Odyssey is a deep-water experience where you can get up close to these fascinating sea creatures, sharing, including kisses, handshakes, rubs, training techniques and feeding. The highlight of this once in a lifetime is an awesome dorsal pull that'll show you the true power of these amazing mammals.
Dolphin Interaction Observers must accompany an Odyssey swimmer.
This unforgettable experience starts with an interactive orientation session with our friendly dolphin experts, who will teach you all about the dolphins’ anatomy, physiology and unique characteristics. You'll also learn special hand training signals and positive reinforcement so you can communicate directly with these highly intelligent creatures at the same time as you gain unique insight into the behaviour of these mysterious creatures.
Then it’s time to jump into the pool where you’ll have plenty of time to get to know these friendly and curious creatures. You can stroke their smooth skin, feed them their favourite treats, kiss and play with them and communicate one-on-one using your newly learned hand signals. Then you’ll be shown how to grab hold of their dorsal fin and feel the power as you’re pulled along through the water.
In addition to the Dolphin Encounter, you’ll also enjoy a full day of shows and exhibits at the Miami Seaquarium.
