Turn dreams into a reality as you begin with an interactive orientation session with our friendly dolphin experts, who will teach you all about the dolphins’ anatomy, physiology and unique characteristics. You'll also learn special hand training signals and positive reinforcement so you can communicate directly with these highly intelligent creatures at the same time as you gain unique insight into their behaviour.
Then it's time to immerse yourself in the warm, shallow water of our seawater pool where you'll get closely acquainted with these friendly and curious creatures. You can stroke their smooth skin, feed them their favourite treat, kiss and play with them and communicate one-on-one using your newly learned hand signals.
There is no swimming involved so this encounter is ideal for young children and non-swimmers alike, making for a relaxing and comfortable experience.
In addition to the Dolphin Encounter, you’ll also enjoy a full day of shows and exhibits at the Miami Seaquarium. Experience the thrill and excitement of orcas and dolphins leaping out of the water for you and then explore the many live animal exhibits including tropical fish, manatees and turtles. Then you can relax as your kids have the time of their lives at Salty’s Pirate Playground.
