Drive to the pier for public ferry across the river to Koh Kret, a tiny island in the Chao Phaya River, located in Nonthaburi Province where you can sense the local Thainess and enjoy the authentic experience in a day.

Start to wander and explore the local community and sampling the exotic Thai & Mon authentic snacks, desserts and drinks on this island’s most popular and typical market. You will visit the small community of craftsmen famous for their distinctive styles of potteries, which dates back many centuries. These potteries are known for their fine, red-black glazed surface and folk design. You can learn some of these skills and create your own simple earthenware; such as a bowl, pot or cup.

Before having lunch, visit Baan Silp Siam, an artist house opening for public where you can acquire the knowledge of Thai Arts including Khon Mask making and Thai handicrafts. Your lunch will be served at a small local restaurant, overlooking the river and savor the tastes of local Thai food. What else better than a cup of coffee after your meal, you sit and order a set of DIY (Do it yourself) coffee that you get to roast the coffee beans on a little stove, grind them and make some coffee for yourself. We will end up your day at Chit beer, a small bar and cozy atmosphere on the river bank, and sip a glass of Thai craft beer while listening to the amazing story of Thailand’s craft beer. Return to the pier and drive back to your hotel.
