Kiss goodbye to the bright lights of Las Vegas as you get ready for a wonderful week in this breathtakingly beautiful national treasure! Start off in Zion Cannon and Bryce Cannon which are teeming with sky-high towers in a bunch of colours, glorious greenery, moss-filled grottoes and wonderful wildlife. Get down to earth as you set out on the hike of your life in none other than the world famous Grand Canyon.Highlights- Find out what all the fuss is about in Zion and get shown about by a local in Monument Valley
- Head in to hoodoos and hobble your way up and down them
- Do it real big and paint the town red in Sin City
Day 1
Make your way out to Utah's most impressive National Park. Colossal canyon walls and stunning sandstone cliffs seem to glimmer underneath the brilliant blue sky. Brave it and set out on what's considered the best half day hike in the Southwest by treading the narrow ridgeline along to Angels Landing. There’s something for everyone here regardless of your fitness level, so you can pick something that suits you to a T. Crank it down a notch and meander around the pristine Emerald Pools or get your thrills by taking part on a river hike that goes deep into the trenches before getting to grips with what’s what in the quaint town of Springdale in the evening.
Day 2
A short drive takes us up a whopping 8000 feet in to Bryce Cannon which is a far cry from a sight for sore eyes so prepare to be in awe of its beauty. Take a stroll along the rim and marvel at the unique sandstone spires (Hoodoos) that seemingly soar sky high above the natural amphitheater. This one-of-a-kind phenomenon has graced the cover of many a geographical magazine and you have the chance to get to know it first-hand. It is certainly a cut above the rest and will surely make its mark on your memories.
Days 3 and 4
See all there is to see on a guided sunset hummer tour or hang out on the edge and get going on one of our optional canyon clifftop adventures (which are sorted out there and then and paid for on the spot). Pop along to Arches National Park which is home to over 2000 arches and climb on up to the Delicate Arch. Trek around in Canyonlands National Park where the Green River meets the Colorado River in some of the most eye-popping scenery the southwest has to serve up. Listen up and get the 411 about two daring delinquents who used the canyons to run from the law back in the late 1800's: Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Roam around in the local town and enjoy Utah's Number 1 adventure hub.
Day 5
Wipe the sleep from your eyes and get ready for another action-packed day. We head past Lake Powell as we wind our way through even more of the South West American scenery to one of the most iconic locations on the planet. If you’re up for it, you can visit the world famous Antelope Canyon en route (this is optional). Boasting as the backdrop for too many famous western movies to mention and home to the Native Indians, you are in for a real treat today! Hop on board a 4x4 Jeep and get your kicks on a guided tour in Monument Valley given by none other than a Native Indian. After that, hit the hay and spend the night there.
Day 6
Save the best until last! After a quick stop off at a local Navajo market, we follow the impressive Colorado River through the Painted Desert to one of the seven natural wonders of the world! Take in a bird’s eye view on the ride of your life by helicopter (optional and payable on the spot), stroll along the rim, take a hike into the one of the deepest and most diverse canyons on earth or simply sit back and take it all in at one of the rim cafes and admire the magnificent view. Have a chin wag with your newly found friends and talk about the memories you’ve made together before you cop some Zs.
Day 7
Get your kicks on Route 66 as we make our way back to Sin City, we get back in plenty of time for you to hang out by the pool and catch some rays before doing it real big on the strip later on in the evening. “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” so let off steam and throw caution to the wind.
