This Tour is an unique and memorable tasting experience through the historic district of Brera- the oldest neighborhood of Milan, where old-world charm meets a youthful downtown vibe. Meet up with our guide and visit a local pastry shop, considered one of the best in town to taste a delicious Italian cream roll. Cream rolls are not just heavenly, but also easy to do bake at home, your guide will tell you how! After the pastry shop, we’ll begin our stroll in the fascinating Brera district and jump into a real temple for food lovers; there, surrounded by hung hams, you'll taste two different cold cuts and learn how are they made. During our Food Tour you will taste a new version of the famous Risotto alla Milanese prepared by one of the most historical gastronomic shop in Milan.mTeh next stop is at Pastificio Moscova where you will taste two kinds of special meatballs – once a poor recipe, now a treat - and a traditional Italian dish: Melanzane alla Parmigiana (Aubergine Parmigiana). Since you’re in Milan, you can’t miss a real Milanese tradition: the Aperitivo. People meet to drink it before lunch or before dinner, eating chips or nuts. After Aperitivo, we will enter a fascinating historical wine shop to taste another traditional Italian drink, Grappa. Since we love to experiment, we’ve found a new way to taste it: the Grappa will be literally spritzed onto your palate and you will be able to taste the rich and fruity bouquet of this ancient drink without feeling the alcohol, while the guide explains its distillation and aging process.
In Milan people love to spend time together drinking and socializing, do like them and have a Bicicletta (a typical Milanese drink).
In the last stop you will taste and learn the history of the Italian Gelato and eat it by strolling around fairy medieval roads. After gratifying your mouth with the fresh gelato, you’ll be ready to enter the most ancient pastificio (pasta factory) of the city, where ancient recipes are followed and dishes taste like home.
