HIGHLIGHTS:

* Learn about famous landmarks, jazz clubs and other attractions in the French Quarter

* Walk through St. Louis Cemetery

* Step back in time at the New Orleans Garden District

* Overview of the city at the New Orleans Warehouse & Arts District

Begin the tour at the birthplace of New Orleans – The French Quarter. Ride through the Quarter learning about its history as your marvel at its European architecture, landmarks and attractions such as Jackson Square, the Saint Louis Cathedral and our famous French Quarter balconies.

Head down Esplanade Avenue towards the City of the Dead and see the graves of St. Louis Cemetery up close before continuing on to City Park with its duelling oaks. See the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and the rebuilding efforts since. From here we go to the “American Sector”, the New Orleans Garden District. Alive and well with its live-oak tree lined St. Charles Avenue, you will get a great sense of the luxury and extravagance of old New Orleans. This is a true step back into the antebellum era.

The New Orleans Warehouse & Arts District is our final stop for an overview including the Day Museum, the New Orleans Contemporary Arts Center and sites from the movie “JFK” and other box office hits.
