Meet the Conventual Sevilla… This tour gives you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the most hidden Seville.
The female religious orders proliferated in Seville from the reconquest of the city in the thirteenth century, reaching number thirty overcome between the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. During the visit you will discover the treasures and curiosities of a cloistered convent.
You will have the opportunity to get inside the Monastery of Santa Paula, a convent with a rich heritage of culture, art and history, with a Permanent Art Collection. You can live a unique experience through a special visit accompanied by attractive explanations of an expert guide and conclude this trip with a tasting of jams wrought by the nuns of Santa Paula working with recipes carefully centenarians transmitted through the centuries they are enduring the walls of monasteries and convents of Seville. The visit begins in the most public part of the Monastery of Santa Paula in the outdoor gardens, the Temple and the Coro Bajo. Then we went to the private garden to visit the Permanent Art Collection overlooking the main cloister and access to the Coro Alto. From there we visited a space through a Venetian blind divides the outside world inside the convent. Then we will conclude our visit in the Lathe divine taste delicacies made by the nuns of Mother of God of Mercy.
