Over 48 hours you’ll be able to get on and off the legendary Red River Rover as many times as you wish so you can visit city’s many riverside attractions.
Cruises depart from four of London’s main piers: Westminster, Waterloo, Tower and Greenwich. The cruisers ply the Thames all day, covering most of riverside London and the main landmarks such as the recently restored Cutty Sark, Canary Wharf, the Tower of London and Tower Bridge, Southwark Cathedral, City Hall, the HMS Belfast museum ship, St Paul’s Cathedral, Shakespeare’s Globe theatre, the Tate Modern museum, the Coca-Cola London Eye, the Millennium Bridge, Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Westminster and Big Ben.
You will see London old and new as skyscrapers vie with belfries and domes for a spot in the sky. See some of the less well-known sights such as the notorious Traitor’s Gate, where prisoners were brought into the Tower of London by boat, many to never leave again.
Pass under many famous bridges and travel as far as Greenwich, where London opened out on to the world. Here, sights such as the Royal Naval College, the Royal Observatory, the Queen’s House and the Hospital speak of the borough’s impressive maritime history.
