Half Day Golden Triangle:
In the morning, passing through scenic hills and jungles, visit the archaeological site of Chiang Saen. Proceed to the world-famous region of the Golden Triangle where Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet at the confluence of the Mekong River. Then visit the Mae Sai border, walk through the local market and soak in the atmosphere of a frontier town which is populated and studded with shop houses and souvenir shops along the way.
Half Day Chiang Rai City Include Temples:
In the afternoon, explore the Northernmost province of Thailand. Spread across the city is interesting architecture that combines the influences between the Thai and Burmese styles. Wat Phra Kaew is a must see for everyone. It was built in the 12th Century during the Lanna Empire. The Emerald Buddha was discovered and later moved to Bangkok. A Replica was made and placed in the same spot where it was found. Going on to the Long Tail boat adventure. The ride takes you to Tham Phra Cave, where the temple is built inside the cave. The locals consider this place as sacred ground.
