Start your adventure at Rialto Bridge and embark on a journey through the winding Venetian streets and over its tiny bridges. Spot a gondolier or two floating beneath you as we work our way into the heart of the city. Your guide will enlighten you on the history and culture of Venice, from its surprising beginning as an uninhabitable marshland.


See Marco Polo’s house and hear about his wanderlust tales, amble through quaint piazzas and marvel at Renaissance architecture. Now on to the Bridge of Sighs and St. Mark’s Square, our skip the line access whisks you past the lines and into St. Mark’s Basilica. Here you have the opportunity to climb up to the first floor terraces, rarely included on other tours, for a perfect bird’s-eye view over the square.


The tour continues to Doge’s Palace, where you get to explore the areas open to the public before having some free time to enjoy an authentic Venetian lunch. The second part of the tour takes us across the lagoon to the timeless islands of Murano and Burano in a water taxi. Disembark on the shores of Murano, known for its glass-blowing, to watch artisans in action. Back on board we continue to Burano to see the famous multi-coloured houses huddled tightly together along the canal streets. Watch as Burano’s centuries-old tradition of lacemaking comes to life before your eyes and soak up your Venetian experience.




Meeting/pick-up point: First Part of the tour: in front of the bronze statue of a man (Carlo Goldoni) in Campo S. Bortolomio, near the San Marco side of the Rialto Bridge.

Second part of the tour: at the statue of a man (Vittorio Emanuele II) on a horse in Riva degli Schiavoni (San Zaccaria vaporetto stop), in front of the lagoon.
