If you want to see Barcelona at your own pace then this scenic tour on a double-decker bus is the right choice for you. This hop on hop off tour gives you complete flexibility to get and off as many times as you want, giving you the opportunity to explore the city at your leisure with the same ticket. Then get off at the Port Vell for a visit to Barcelona's Aquarium, the most important sea life leisure and education centre in the world dedicated to the Mediterranean and the largest in Europe.
The bus tour starts at Plaça Catalunya and takes in the top attractions of Barcelona. We'll pass through the Gothic Quarter, the Port Vell, Barceloneta and the Olympic Port, the spectacular Agbar Tower and Barcelona’s award-winning urban beaches. Then get off at the Port Vell, a spectacular modern leisure complex built in the city's old harbour and visit the Aquarium.
The Aquarium is the most important sea life leisure and education centre in the world dedicated to the Mediterranean and the largest in Europe. A series of 35 tanks, 11,000 animals representing 450 different species, an underwater tunnel 80 metres long, six million litres of water and an immense Oceanarium, unique in Europe, with such diverse species as giltheads, morays, ocean sunfish, rays and two kinds of sharks, make Barcelona Aquarium a unique leisure attraction that has been visited by more than 14 million people.
The tour includes a convenient audio headphone system in 12 different languages. You’ll also be provided with a map and guidebook, including all the stops on the route, as well a book of vouchers offering discounts at different commercial establishments throughout the city.
