This is a groundbreaking new experience for tourists traveling with kids aged 6-12. Designed to entertain both children and adults, the tour provides a memorable day experience that will capture the attention of the entire family.
Through songs and games with the aid of an interactive booklet, families will experience an engaging and instructive approach to the city of Rome. You will be met by your friendly guide at the meeting point, then guests will start a fascinating panoramic tour through Eternity with a comfortable vehicle: the Circo Massimo, the Tiberina Island, Teatro Marcello, Piazza Venezia, Via dei Fori Imperiali; all the monuments are part of the widest open air museum in the world. During the panoramic tour the guide will also introduce the guests to the exciting program and provide you with the booklet.
Then you will start the visit from the Forum Area: a fascinating journey through history will introduce guests to the largest Roman amphitheater that hosted spectacular shows with Gladiators and animal fights, The Colosseum! Get the entire family involved on a Skip the Line access: specifically designed by a childhood education expert, this is the only Colosseum and Forum tour developed specifically for kids in school-age with an added value represented by the interactive booklet.
Thanks to our knowledgeable guide and a fascinating treasure hunt, families will co-operate, while exploring the Forum, to find the solutions to the quizzes on the booklet. From Colosseum you will move on top of The Palatine Hill where guests can enjoy a breathtaking view overlooking the Forum area. The tour ends at Terrazza Caffarelli where the guests can also decide to have a break for lunch (not included in the tour). There isn’t in Rome a monument that captures the kids’ imagination quite like the Colosseum; once a playground for gladiators and lions, there’s a magic that hangs in the air over the bleachers and arches there: this represents a guaranteed lifetime memory from a family trip to Rome.
Furthermore the interactive booklet will catch and keep adults’ and children's attention with funny and witty exercises and challenges: because the real holiday is having fun together.
Led by an expert and official guide, we specifically focus on the stories and anecdotes that bring the Colosseum to life than on facts and figures. By using interactive and visual aids in the booklet provided to guests at the beginning of the tour, our kid-friendly guides tailor their commentary to suit all their audience and allow all participants to share this challenging experience with other families, all guests will enjoy a relaxed environment for an once-in-a-lifetime experience. We are mainly focused on the 6 – 12 year old kids, but this tour is suitable for adults - which are actively involved to co-operate with kids in finding solutions to quizzes - and teens too.

Start/opening time: At 9:30am.
Others: Children under 7 may have difficulties participating in activities which involve reading/writing. On this tour, some of the venues or parts of the venue may be subject to last-minute, unforeseeable closures (e.g. Colosseum extraordinary closure). Although we try to list any date as soon as it becomes unavailable, when this unpredictable circumstance occurs, we will offer customers an extended alternative tour in keeping with the advertised total length of the tour. We are unable to accommodate customers with wheelchairs or impairments requiring special assistance and customers with strollers or baby carriages on this tour, due to uneven surfaces during the path.
Tour order and sites visited may vary according local reasons of greater force; this excursion operates on foot and the itinerary is subject to local conditions. The duration of the activity is approximate; the exact duration will depend also on the weather conditions.
Guests must be able to walk at least 2 miles over even, uneven and cobblestone surfaces with steps and extended periods of standing.
Lunch is at guest’s own expense at the end of the tour at Terrazza Caffarelli.
Including: a panoramic tour of Rome with conformable vehicle of approx. 45 minutes during the 3-hour overall experience and skip the line tickets for the Colosseum and the Forum. Please kindly note that skip the like tickets at the Colosseum allow to skip long lines at the ticket office, but we cannot waive security controls which may take up to 70 minutes approx. according local affluence conditions. For security reasons all visitors and their luggage shall be screened. Tourists will be required to check large bags, backpacks and large video cameras at designated security check point and pass thorough metal detectors. We recommend passengers to not bring any items which may cause a delay for security checks (including scissors, knives, or any sharp objects) and to facilitate the security checks by storing any object (including mobile phones) in the bag/backpack or in the tray to be included in the x-ray machines.
