Based on Roald Dahl’s beloved children’s book of the same name, Matilda follows Matilda Wormwood, a bright little girl that immerses herself in books. Matilda is discarded and belittled by her dimwitted parents. Her father insists on calling her a boy and harps on her “stupidity” for preferring reading to watching the telly and her hostile headmistress, the outrageous and wicked Miss Trunchbull.
Reclusive, but with her ever-growing imagination and sharp mind, and with a caring protector in her teacher Miss Honey, Matilda dreams of a better life, daring to take a stand against unjust forces and to grasp her destiny in her own, tiny hands.

Duration: Approximately 2 hours.
Start/opening time: Evening performances: Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm, Wednesday at 7:30pm, Friday and Saturday at 8pm. Matinee performances: Wednesday and Saturday at 2pm and Sunday at 3pm. Times are subject to change but performances will be confirmed for evening or morning as booked.
Others: Children under 5 years not permitted. Parking available in public garages. Fees apply. Tickets can be delivered to your Manhattan area hotel or collected from the office of New York Guest. For ticket delivery please call the supplier at least 24 hours in advance. Tickets will be delivered to concierge or front desk for evening performance by 5pm and for matinee performance by 12noon. For office pick up New York Guest is open Monday to Friday 10am-6pm and Saturday from 10am-3pm. For Sundays and US Holiday tickets please ensure that you arrange in advance for ticket delivery as the office is closed. Tickets are not refundable.
