Starting at the historic Central Market your local guide will take you through the dramatic history of Florence. Discover the Medici Chapels and Basilica of St Lorenzo where you can admire the elegant cloister designed by Brunelleschi, a green oasis of peace in the heart of the Medici District.


Our tour also leads us to the beautiful Palazzo Medici Riccardi where in no time we reach the Piazza del Duomo. Behold the impressive Cathedral, Giotto's Bell Tower and the St John’s Baptistery with the Gates of Paradise. Visit the medieval quarters where Dante and Beatrice lived, home of the Badia Fiorentina. Further ahead we find the austere Bargello Palace from where we stroll along the Arno River until Ponte Vecchio.


Continue to Mercato della Paglia to see the famous Fontana del Porcellino, and then the elegant Piazza della Signoria to admire the imposing Palazzo Vecchio. Cross by the Uffizzi Gallery until we reach the Pitti Palace where the tour ends.
