With the gorgeous peaks of the Alps, stunning lakes, fabulous villas and the Swiss border all awaiting you just an hour outside the city, spend a full-day seeing the very best, Lake Como and Lake Lugano.
In intimately sized groups, head out for a day of unmatched natural scenery in the Italian Alps. Complete with rolling hills in all shades of green, these fantastic surroundings will leave you captivated. First reach the stunning waters of Lake Como. Boasting crisp, clean air and some of the area’s most astounding landscapes, it’s easy to understand why it has become one of the Italians’ favourite relaxation destinations. Upon arrival in the lovely waterside town of Como, take a walk and explore the medieval-walled historical centre and the beautiful domed cathedral.
Following, board a boat and take to the waters for a scenic cruise on Lake Como. While floating along the luxuriously developed shoreline, full of opulence and star power, see the villas of noted celebrities lining the perimeter of the lake. Dance and opera stars from the La Scala stage and modern icons of today, including Richard Branson and George Clooney, all have properties along the water's edge. Afterwards, make your way to Lake Lugano. With dome-topped hills emerging elegantly from the water, explore the pristine serenity of this charming lake town.
