Your royal London experience begins with the Changing of the Guards at Buckingham Palace. This world-famous ceremony is the oldest tradition at Buckingham Palace and is held either here or at Horse Guards Parade, depending on the day. Your guide will make sure you are in a prime position to enjoy the best views at this crowded event and will regale you with the history behind this tradition and before you head into Buckingham Palace; they will tell you all there is to know about the Royal Family before you head in (as no guides are allowed in).


Once inside the official residence of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, you’ll catch a rare and much coveted glimpse into the world of the Royals. See how they live in lavish apartments decorated with sparkling chandeliers, sumptuous furnishings as well as some of the world’s finest French and English furniture. Changing of the Guard will not operate in rain and will be replaced with an extended walking tour. On occasional Sundays the Changing of the Guards may be rescheduled to early morning, meaning that we will not be able to see it.

We regret that we are unable to accommodate guests with wheelchairs or any impairments requiring special assistance. We are also unable to accommodate strollers or baby carriages on our group tours. It is the responsibility of all visitors to be at the meeting point 15 minutes before departure.
