Walk through the pages of the rich and complex history of art with this one of a king tour of the Uffizi Gallery. In this gallery is contained one of the most important art collections in Europe, with countless works of art dating from a wide variety of ages. As you lose yourself in the immensity of its interior and take in the luscious decorations, you will feel enlightened as the masterpieces enrich your spirit. What’s more, the tour is topped off with the opportunity to climb to the Uffizi terrace, one of the single best vantages points from which to admire the sprawling Florentine skyline.
Within the halls of the Uffizi Gallery, you will be able to set eyes on timeless masterpieces from artists as renowned and important as Giotto, Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Caravaggio and many other. It is in this gallery where two of Sandro Botticelli’s most iconic paintings are located: Primavera and The Birth of Venus.
With this tour you can stay in the museum until closing time, but once you’ve had enough of roaming around the endless corridors of one of the most beautiful museums of the world, climb to the Uffizi terrace and contemplate a view that will make you fall in love with this classic Italian city for the rest of your days. Dominated by the Dome of the Basilica of Saint Mary of the Flower, it is by far one of the most widely recognized and breath-taking landscapes in Europe.
