Program details

Discover the best of Lanazarote in one day. The excursion starts with a short ferry ride to the neighbouring island. You will get to know both sides of this fascinating island, visiting the volcanic south and the greener north, visiting the National Park of Timanfaya also known as the Mountains of Fire where you will be able to feel the power of this active volcano and the heat beneath your feet, seeing water turn into steam and bushes bursting into flame in a series of geothermic experiments. Then you will cross this awe-inspiring landscape seemingly from another planet, studded with a spectacular series of volcanoes as you learn how this singular environment was formed. Then we will move on to La Geria, Lanazarote’s own wine-growing region, where we will visit a wine cellar and you will be able to see for yourself how the vines grow in this barren volcanic soil. After passing through Teguise, the island’s old capital we will continue northwards towards the spectacular village of Haria, situated in the valley of a thousand palm trees. There we will stop for lunch and you will be able to try some of the local specialities. After lunch we’ll discover the incredible cave at Jameos del Agua, an incredible natural tunnel formed by cooling lava, renowned for its blind crabs and splendid underground auditorium. This will be a day you never forget. Do not miss this opportunity to visit the neighbouring island of Lanzarote while you are on holiday in Fuerteventura.
