Walk through the beautiful streets of Florence and discover the fascinating monuments and sights of this spectacular city.

In the company of your expert guide, you will visit the famous Piazza della Repubblica home to cafes such as the Caffe Gilli and Caffe Paskowski, where in days gone by many famous artists and writers would meet.
From here we move on to the
Piazza Duomo and the Cathedral with Brunelleschi’s famous dome dominating the skyline, to admire its spectacular exterior. Here we also see the octagonal Baptistery of San Giovanni, the outer walls of which are covered in white marble, and admire the beautiful panelled doors known as the Gates of Paradise. The doors are covered in 10 golden panels depicting many of the main stories of the Old Testament such as Adam and Eve and Noah.
Next we go to
Piazza Signoria, surrounded by many magnificent buildings such as the Loggia dei Lanzi with its wide arches filled with many famous sculptures such as Cellini’s Perseus and the incredible Palazzo Vecchio and its beautiful crenelated tower.
After some free time to take photos you will meet up with your guide to
visit the Palatina Gallery on the noble floor of the Palazzo Pitti. The collection has many masterpieces by artists such as Raphael, Titian, Rubens and Caravaggio. Included in this tour is entry to the Royal Apartments once home to ruling families in Florence. The grand gilded rooms are sumptuously decorated with amazing furnishings and art from the 16th to the 19th century.
