Program details

Travel to the Italian Riviera and discover some of the most spectacular Ligurian landscapes on this full day tour from Florence. Declared a Unesco World Heritage Site, Cinque Terre is the perfect blend of sun, sea and rocky coasts which harbour some of the most precious towns and breath-taking views.

HIGHLIGHTS:

* Optional traditional lunch included by the sea

* Tour Riomaggiore, Vernazza, Monterosso and Manarola

* Free time for swimming or shopping

Discover the area by train, road and boat as you journey between the towns that line the coast. Start at the southernmost village in Cinque Terre, Riomaggiore, dating back to the 13th century where you can soak up its historic character and wine produced in the area.

Then head to the most authentic ‘fishing village’, Vernazza, before heading to the pearl of Cinque Terre, Monterosso. Here you can enjoy a fish lunch at a typical restaurant on the beach, overlooking the ancient bay with attractive beaches and lush vegetation on the rocks. After lunch, taste the local Limoncino liqueur in a quaint wine shop, before some free time to go swimming in the sparkling waters or walk around the winding streets. Last stop is Manarola, the second smallest town on Cinque Terre, which is characterised by Genoese style tower houses.

We then return to Florence with plenty of time to unwind and enjoy the rest of your evening in this enchanting and equally spectacular city.
