Leaving Edinburgh behind us we start our adventure into the Highlands crossing over the Forth Road Bridge into the Cairngorm Mountains. Enjoy stunning scenery as you travel through the unique wilderness of the Cairngorms National Park before arriving at the famous Loch Ness. Its beauty and mystery are known worldwide and here we have the chance to stop for some lunch.
Spot the UK’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis, and continue to Glen Coe, a place that’s steeped in history as well as beauty. Stand at the mouth of the glen and learn about the infamous massacre of the MacDonald Clan. From here our route takes back to Edinburgh past the beautiful city of Stirling, famous for its castle and William Wallace.
