The mystical world of the Fire Mountains. The volcanic eruptions from 1730 to 1736 where probably the most significant eruptions in the history of volcanism. The Fire Mountains in the "Parque Nacional de Timanfaya", are a unique natural phenomenon and is an absolute must to see. Already the first part of the journey through the lava fields to the dromedary station , the "Echadero de los Camellos" is very impressive. At least as spectacular is the route through the volcanoes. On the "Ruta de los Vulcanes" it becomes very quiet. You are going to look into open craters and you will be able to see the huge ash fields and bizarre rock formations. Also impressive are the demonstrations of "geothermal anomalies".
In the visitors center, the "Centro de Visitantes" you learn everything worth knowing about the National Park 's geology, flora and fauna. As a closure of the tour, we go with you into the crater of the active volcano "El Cuervo". This is where the series of eruptions started in 1730. On the way to the caldron, you can enjoy the fantastic world of colors of this extraordinary scenery.
