Program details

In this afternoon tour you can discover Istanbul from the sea as well as from above as you take an invigorating cruise on the Bosphorous and then climb high above the city in a cable car. Explore an exotic spice market and discover the heart of Istanbul as you watch its most famous sights glide by from the deck of a river cruiser.

After being picked up from your hotel between 13.00 and 13,30, we'll head straight for the waterfront and board a river cruiser for a cruise along the Bosphorous between two continents. We'll pass the sumptuous Dolmabahçe and Beylerbeyi Palaces, the impressive Rumeli Fortress, built by Sultan Mehmet II the Conqueror during the siege of Constantinople in 1453 and Leander's Tower, one of the symbols of Istanbul.

Then we'll climb to the top of Pierre Loti Hill by cable car where you can enjoy amazing panoramic views over the Bosphorous, the Golden Horn and the city. Next we'll reboard the bus and head for the Golden Horn. This natural and extremely secure harbour has played an important role in the development of Istanbul. Our final stop will be a visit to the 17th Century Egyptian Bazaar where the air is filled with the enticing aromas of cinnamon, caraway, saffron, mint, thyme and every other conceivable herb and spice.
