Journey to the former military citadel of Theresienstadt, and see the scars war has left on the Czech soul. Today known as Terezin, it was the site of the notorious Theresienstadt Concentration Camp run by the Nazis during the World War II.

Be guided through the horrors of recent history and walked around the medieval fortress that was built by the Habsburg monarchy in the late 18th century at the banks of the Ohre River. Visit the barracks, patios and other rooms of the camp that were transformed by the Nazis. Learn about the daily life and the hardship of the unfortunate prisoners that were held here.



Find out about the life of Gavrilo Princip, probably the most famous prisoner of the fortress.
