The trip is guided by a professional photographer with an expert knowledge of the area and this avant-garde architectural style. Between Ocean Drive and Flamingo Park, there are almost 1,000 Art Deco buildings, from landmarks such as the Colony, Starlite and Breakwater hotels to little-known gems like the Cameo Theatre and Chase Federal bank. The tour can be taken by day or at night.
See the chic hotels of Ocean Drive in a new light during the day tour as the guide discusses the fundamentals of photography. Gain new insights on taking photos and improve your knowledge of this art form. The tour covers the blocks between Ocean Drive and Washington Avenue and is open to all photographers, from beginner and advanced. All cameras are welcome, from professional DSLR to mobile phones.
The night tour allows you to combine South Beach sightseeing with an intense photography class. Discover a new perspective of Ocean Drive thanks to the breathtaking use of neon lighting, which has been perfected over the decades and enhances the hotels’ lines and angles. Learn how flash and long exposure work, and also how to take great pictures without a flash. Some previous knowledge is recommended and the use of DSLR cameras is preferred in this tour. A tripod is also recommended.

Meeting/pick-up point: Ocean Drive and 7th Street, in front of the Park Central Hotel, on the Lummus Park side, in South Beach.

Start/opening time: Day tour is at 3pm on sunny days only. Night tour is at 6.30pm from Thursday to Sunday.
