Swing like it’s the Thirties again at one of Midtown Manhattan’s top jazz venues with this rip-roaring evening of entertainment. Enjoy a ride through Mid and Lower Manhattan, then dine and dance at Swing 46 Supper Club, with live jazz music entertainment. This evening guarantees a warm, memorable experience, featuring Grammy-nominated and award-winning artists.
Swing 46 is a jazz and supper club in the heart of New York City’s theatre district. The celebrated venue keeps swing music and dance alive in the big apple offering dining, dancing, cocktails, dance lessons, a swing DJ, and awesome live bands every night.
The vision for Swing 46 was to create a dinner dance club with a focus on the fabulous music of the Swing Era that ran from the mid-Thirties through to the mid-Fifties. You can Lindy Hop, Jitterbug, Waltz, Foxtrot, or freestyle!
The menu is traditional American fare with a modern twist, with each dish carefully prepared using only the freshest ingredients. Dinner includes an appetizer of mixed field greens salad, your choice of entrée:
a) angus hanger steak with golden Yukon potato mash, port peppercorn reduction and onion cracklings.
b) Sesame Seared Atlantic Salmon with teriyaki ginger sauce, rice and fresh sautéed vegetables.
c) roast half marinated chicken with garlic mash potatoes, sautéed vegetables and chicken gravy.
d) vegetarian penne pasta with plum tomato and basil, and herb marinara, and dessert of chocolate brownies with fresh cream.
Meeting/pick-up point: . Pick-ups are offered at 8:30pm from the Sheraton New York at 811 7th Avenue at W. 53rd Street.
Duration: Approx. 3 hours.
End/closing time: Return from Swing 46 Supper Club to the Sheraton New York is offered at 11:30pm.
